Community SoulCollage Card by Linda Tenney

Community SoulCollage Card by Linda Tenney

“When the soul wishes to experience something, she throws an image of the experience before her and enters into her own image.” ~Meister Eckhart, 14th century Christian mystic

SC logoSoulCollage® is a creative and insightful collage process developed by Seena B. Frost. You make your own cards—each collage card representing one aspect of your personality or soul.

You create your cards by cutting and pasting ♥ images from magazines, catalogs, greeting cards, brochures, etc. together to represent one energy or concept per card. As you select and arrange various images on 5×8-inch mat board cards, you intuitively express the story of your unique soul. This simple, yet powerful, technique awakens your creative energy and intuition!

♥ Thank you to all the wonderful photographers and artists whose images inspired us to recreate and discover our inner and outer worlds. Because these images are copyrighted by others, SoulCollage cards are never to be sold, traded, or bartered. They are only for our own personal use; reproductions may be made of them only to share as examples or to illustrate the SoulCollage process.

Many people go on to create decks of numerous cards, grouped into four suits symbolizing the multiple facets—the One and the Many—that make up all the parts of themselves (Committee, Community, Companions, and Council).

From the SoulCollage web site:

Use the collage cards intuitively to answer life’s questions and participate in self-discovery. Joyfully deepen your understanding of the relationships between your personality parts, you and your family/community/world, and you and your dreams, symbols, and Spirit. The book, SoulCollage® Evolving, tells how to make and use the SoulCollage cards individually and in groups.

It is my experience that SoulCollage cards are the “gift that keeps on giving.” First, creating the cards themselves is a relaxing, meditative experience. When completed, you hold up your card and marvel at what you have co-created with your soul. Then, you dialog with your card using the “I am One Who…” exercise, where you enter into the card image, and imagine speaking to yourself as the person, being, or energy of the card. Lastly, you can consult your cards in readings by asking open-ended questions and drawing cards randomly to see who has guidance for you at that time.

Watch Seena Frost’s “Invitation to SoulCollage,” a 6-minute video where she talks especially to those who have never heard of SoulCollage. She shows you how easy and fun it is to make a card and talks about discovering inner wisdom.
